So we thought we'd have a bit more time to move out our belongings. Not so much.
I thought emptying out the contents of a house inhabited by six people would be straightforward. Not so.
So Paul and his loyal assistant Denbo have been madly spending evenings throwing things into boxes and bags, hauling them to our storage locker, or to our new living room (we've moved out now, more on that later).
I will not even speak of the meals I've fed my family this week. OK, one exception: tonight's featured menu is a starter of greasy pizza with a side of cupcakes, courtesy of the school funfair. Besides, aren't vegetables and home cooked meals overrated? Who needs that kind of clean up anyway? Isn't it about what kids WANT instead of what kids NEED?
