Well. A whole month post free. How sad. Today, two bits of encouraging news:
1. I met with the head honcho at development services at the City, and got the fee waived for our minor variance. Woo hoo! He found my tale compelling, and returned my cheque to me. We're talking over a thousand bucks. Yesssss!
2. Our request for a minor variance was granted, in a mere 2 minutes. How underwhelming.
Bring on the building permit!
